High impact lawyer headshots in Albuquerque going on a billboard
More and more lawyers and attorneys in Albuquerque are choosing Jason Collin Photography for headshots because I welcome creative input from the clients, and create headshots that match their vision, and when needed or wanted, I offer my own creative ideas to help make high impact headshots. Such was the case with lawyer Blake Dugger who visited the JCP Home Studio wanting a black background and lighting that was dramatic. So in addition to my usual beauty dish style lighting, I also used butterfly lighting and for the last shot, a single light to have more shadow in the headshot for maximum dramatic visual appeal. Thank you Blake for your ideas and being so great in front of the camera and look for these images on a billboard in New Mexico soon!
Luxury Real Estate Photography on a tight deadline in Albuquerque
This was my first time to work with Nick Caffey of Cottonwood Realty who called me with a short notice request to photograph a luxury real estate listing on La Luz Trail NE right in the very foot of the Sandia Mountains (check out the actual property listing if you are interested). He told me it was going to be a $1.5 million dollar listing, and that he needed it photographed within 3 days! I had a very tight schedule, and was not even in Albuquerque at the time of his text, and was leaving Albuquerque yet again for more out of town photo work 3 days after I got back. However, I was able to make time and get all the photography and drone content done for Nick in time for his listing date (save for twilight shots due to weather). The owners of the house helped make this possible too by having the house ready and looked like it was staged professionally. Thank you Nick for choosing me as your luxury home real estate photographer! I hope this listing sells quickly and I look forward to the next luxury property shoot with you.
High impact actor portfolio headshots in Albuquerque
George visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico with a definite vision for the actor headshots he wanted. He had been growing out his beard, brought props, and was ready to go for his western cowboy themed actor headshot photo session. We settled on a gray background as the most complimentary for the photos, I put on the camera my brand new Sony 50mm f/1.2 G Master lens, and then George did the rest. Through several wardrobe changes, a couple of lighting changes, and even getting a saddle into the action, we had a very creative headshot session and George now has the photos he needs to land western and cowboy roles. Thank you George for choosing me as your headshot photographer for such a fun, and creative photoshoot!
Not quite as large as I imagined the Very Large Array to be
The Very Large Array was one site I had not been able to get to before in my 4.5 years traveling all over New Mexico for my photography work and on drives with the BMW Club. Well, the latter finally brought me to the Very Large Array Rest Site where I was able to actually see the array in action. While standing there, the huge dishes all started rotating in unison. However, they were not as big as I imagined them to be, nor was there any one central giant mothership type dish. Still, it was very cool to finally see the array and for once, the clouds were amazing when I visit one of these New Mexico True sites.
Some four hours away from Albuquerque, hidden in the small town of Glenwood, there are catwalks that elevate you over a creak along the side of sheer rock. Free and dog friendly (though holes make it tough on some paws), this is a real hidden gem for the dedicated New Mexico True fan who wants to visit a unique place well off the beaten path.
Friendly Headshots for Real Estate Agents in Albuquerque
The real estate agent and real estate broker competition in Albuquerque, New Mexico is fierce. How can you expect to compete without first having a modern headshot which is very likely the first impression potential buyers and sellers have of you? Heidi knows how important it is to have a modern and friendly headshot to show her clients how professional she is. It was great to have Heidi visit the JCP Home Studio for her headshot session. Even with the most busy of schedules, real estate headshots can often take up less than 15 minutes of your time. I know Heidi’s time is valuable, so not only did she get great headshots, the session was fast and the edited headshots were in her inbox the same day! Thank you Heidi for choosing me as your real estate headshot photographer!
Cosmos photos across 13 years of photography history
The first time I photographed cosmos flowers 13 years ago, I was just learning how to become a more serious photographer. That meant I could still be stunned by the amount of bokeh created in these cosmos flowers I made in Tachikawa, Japan. Now many tens of thousands of photos later, I am no longer stunned by creating very shallow DoF in a photo, but I do still appreciate the magic of it. These cosmos were photographed in the ABQ Biopark while bees were busy collecting pollen on a warm fall afternoon. In 13 years will we still be using what we traditionally think of as a interchangeable lens camera to make such photos?
