Red Rock Mesas of McKinley County New Mexico Drone Video
Back out in the New Mexico desert for the first time in a while for rural land real estate photography. This time I was in McKinley County New Mexico somewhere west of Grants and east of Thoreau. The obvious highlight of this area were the many red rock mesas creating a dramatic view and landscape. Luxury Real Estate Photography on a tight deadline in Albuquerque
This was my first time to work with Nick Caffey of Cottonwood Realty who called me with a short notice request to photograph a luxury real estate listing on La Luz Trail NE right in the very foot of the Sandia Mountains (check out the actual property listing if you are interested). He told me it was going to be a $1.5 million dollar listing, and that he needed it photographed within 3 days! I had a very tight schedule, and was not even in Albuquerque at the time of his text, and was leaving Albuquerque yet again for more out of town photo work 3 days after I got back. However, I was able to make time and get all the photography and drone content done for Nick in time for his listing date (save for twilight shots due to weather). The owners of the house helped make this possible too by having the house ready and looked like it was staged professionally. Rural Land Drone Video and Photography now available for Colorado
Already the most prolific rural land real estate photographer and drone pilot in New Mexico, I am now offering my photography and drone services in southern Colorado. This expansion recently took me to Conejos County near La Jara and Alamosa. Hidden down nearly 10 miles of gravel road, and then hidden further in a small hamlet bordered by a hidden creek itself, this property was one of the most lush I have photographed for Hemingway Land (and also the first time I got bit my mosquitos in 2+ years!). This is a high value property and the client wanted the works: 4k drone video, aerial drone photos, and still photos in both daylight and at sunset. The drone video I made of this property opens with one of the single best clips I have ever made for any type of drone video starting at the creek and flying backwards between trees to reveal the mountains in the distance. My goal is to top each video, each shoot I made before and my effort for this property is evidence of that.
At the end of August I had a unique opportunity to photograph and fly over a unique luxury ranch property only about 1.5 miles as the crow flies beyond the New Mexico border in a small, small town call Blue River, Arizona. This shoot was unique because I actually stayed on the property in the guest cabin, so I could easily shoot at all hours of the day capturing a luxury real estate property like I never was able to do before. The owner, Miriam, was a gracious host and very helpful even in assisting with some aspects of the shoot. Drone Video combined with the best interior photography style
I was contacted directly by the Geoffrey, the owner of this house in the Ridgecrest neighborhood of Albuquerque, New Mexico to make drone video and interior photos, plus twilight photos as he has chosen to sell it by owner. I spent a good amount of time meeting with him to discuss the photography and drone video of the house and then on site several times to get a wide variety of photographs to help him sell it as quickly as possible and for the best possible price. Drone video shows the property in context with the surrounding neighborhood, and the numerous interior photos I made using a combination of styles such as flambient, HDR, and detail really cover all the highlights of the design of the home. Sunrise drone flight for amazing results for the client
Here at Jason Collin Photography, I find in photography and drone video, getting up for the sunrise is never a bad thing and often produces amazing results. Such was the case at this luxury rural real estate property in Arizona that I just happened to be staying at in the guest cabin allowing me an easy walk to the large pond right on the property to catch this stunning sunrise with both the drone and my mirrorless camera. This was a specific request by the client to capture sunrise content, and I included it in the overall property drone video I delivered to the client. I liked the sunrise drone video clips so much, I wanted to feature them, even though they are brief, in their own drone video.
In the past three years, I have photographed hundreds of rural land real estate properties in New Mexico, and now I have photographed my first in Colorado. This property was a great introduction to Las Animas County and its mountain views and sweeping green pines.
