Day and Twilight Vacation Rental Real Estate Photography in Pebble Beach
I spent a day in Pebble Beach at this vacation rental home nestled atop a hill in the pine trees photographing it in daylight and twilight, as well as sending up the drone to get treetop views of the larger property setting. Vacation rental photography does differ from straight up real estate listing photography in how the home is featured, as the furniture needs to be shown on purpose, as it of course is part of the rental itself. Not to mention, a couple of rental experience shots, like the one above. This was definitely a vacation rental to enjoy in the forest of Pebble Beach!
Mountain setting for Airbnb in the La Luz area of Albuquerque New Mexico
Hidden far up La Luz in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is this Airbnb nestled in a stunning mountain setting. I took my camera and drone through winding dirt roads to reach this Airbnb to make professional photos of it as the owner wants to stand out from all the competition in Albuquerque. I sent the drone up first to show the Airbnb listing’s proximity to the Sandia Mountains and hiking trails. Inside, I featured using a wide angle lens the open floor plan of the main level, and then the two upstairs bedrooms. Switching lenses I then made highlighting photos of the features in this Airbnb, like a crib for a baby, high chairs, and a cool bean bag chair for lounging around. My goal when photographing an Airbnb is showing others what I would want to see if I were considering this Airbnb listing using my 10+ years experience of staying in Airbnbs all over the U.S.
The peacefulness in photographing an apartment community in Albuquerque
I actually find photographing an apartment community one of the most relaxing types of photography I do. Why is that? Because most of the time I am given access to a space, then left alone to make the photos I need. Such was the case when I photographed Stride West in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The leasing office area and lobby was largely empty when I was there, the gym totally empty, same for the pool, and of course the model unit was just me and the furniture. In this way I made my way around the apartment community grounds (with a lift from the staff on a golf cart) getting the 75 photos I needed to per client guidelines. I did start out getting aerial drone photos because the skies were pretty good, and it is my policy to get all exterior shots when I arrive because you never know when the weather will change. Sure enough, by the end of the shoot things would have been too cloudy. Thank you to the team at Stride West for getting everything prepped for the photo shoot.
Many visits to Socorro County west of Belen in New Mexico
Socorro County New Mexico, near Belen in particular, is one of the areas I have visited the most in my 5+ years of photographing hundreds of rural land real estate properties. Then even more specifically, this area near the small airport west of Belen, high up on a plain bordered by mountains I return to multiple times each year. It is a peaceful area, and once you go south a bit, you feel like the entire desert is just yours. Walking this land with my two cameras is a peaceful photography work experience. The only noise comes when I send the drone up to get aerial photos of the entire 5 acres.
Land Real Estate in Placitas Aerial Drone Photography
Back in Placitas for another drone aerial photography real estate shoot for long time clients Fred and Sandra of Sandy Creek Realty (formerly ABQhomes). They had a land real estate property in a scenic area of Placitas that was ideal for aerial drone photography due to the slope of the land. Still photography from the ground would not be able to show the topography or the stunning setting of the land as well. They also had a new request for these drone photos, that I draw the outline of the property boundary. They provided me with the plat maps of the land and I did my best to accurately draw in the property borders to help potential buyers see (almost) exactly where the land sits on the hillside. Thank you Fred and Sandra for continuing to choose me as your drone pilot!
Placitas, New Mexico is just a short drive from Albuquerque, but as you can see, is a totally different landscape to the bigger nearby city. Working for new real estate client Miriam, I flew the drone over her rural land property which was uniquely suited for showing the topography of the property. The extreme slop of the land and the mountain setting would not be easy to depict using traditional still photos from the ground. This is the benefit of drone land real estate aerial photography. Thank you Miriam for choosing me as your drone pilot!
Sandia Heights Luxury Real Estate Drone Photography pending fast!
Out on another luxury real estatedrone photography shoot for returning client Fred Creek this time in the Sandia Heights area of Albuquerque. It took me a couple of weeks to post these photos, and I see that this listing is already pending at $850,000! When real estate agents choose to work with me, they get high impact photography, aerial drone photography, and drone video that helps sell luxury listings both quickly and at a high offer. Plus, my latest drone imaging product, 360 aerial panoramas that combine the best of an aerial photo and a drone video and are interactive with the ability to spin around and zoom in, adds yet another way buyers can interact online with a luxury property that can make the difference in wanting to see a listing in person or not. Thank you Fred for choosing me as your luxury real estate drone pilot again!
