Team Headshots for Berkeley Staff at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove California

Team Headshots for Berkeley Staff at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove California

Headshots for 30 Berkeley Staff Members at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove California

Some members of Berkeley were coming here to Pacific Grove for a conference at Asilomar Conference Grounds and wanted team headshots of everyone in attendance. This is something I specialize in, making efficient, creative, and consistent headshots for dozens of people while attending a conference. I bring my mobile studio setup for headshots so that everyone gets the same great headshot as if they were at my own photo studio in town. I even shoot tethered to my laptop so each person can proof in real time their headshot, and give the final seal of approval on it. Thank you to the team on site for making it a very smooth shoot, and thank you to Melissa for assisting on the shoot!

Personal Branding Photography for DJ and Producer for Spotify in Pacific Grove with Jason

Personal Branding Photography for DJ and Producer for Spotify in Pacific Grove with Jason

In Studio and Out on the Street Branding Shoot for a Local DJ and Music Producer

For just my second shoot in the new photo studio in Pacific Grove, it was an evening personal branding photo shoot for local DJ and producer Jason Kushy (check out his music on Spotify and everywhere else). He was fine with the studio being in nowhere near final form and setup. He was also very excited and passionate about the shoot, which I appreciated. We started out in studio getting a series of photos of a certain look, before heading out into the early night onto Forest Ave right in the heart of downtown Pacific Grove for some light trail shots and street vibe images. As you can see below, Jason has already put the images from the shoot up on his Spotify profile. It was a great personal branding photo shoot and I look forward to working with Jason again on making more images for his music career! Thank you Jason for choosing me as your photographer and for the great 5-star review too!

Carmel California Airbnb Photography with putting green feature

Luxury Carmel California Airbnb Property with its own Putting Green!

First, thank you to Adelle of Murrer Construction for introducing me to Bill and Penny to photograph their amazing luxury Airbnb property in Carmel, California. It was Adelle’s team that did this amazing renovation to the house and exterior. Properties like this are a pleasure to photograph to highlight all the details that went into the design and then staging of each room. This Airbnb has four bedrooms and so much outdoor living space! Which kitchen is better, the one in the house or the one out on the patio?? Then if you want to get in some golf practice before you go to the course, there is a large putting green for a backyard! I sent the drone up to show the property from a bird’s eye view, as well as to show its proximity to Carmel Beach and Pebble Beach Golf Resort. When guests see the listing on Airbnb, they will know from up close and nearby what they get when they choose to rent this amazing Airbnb! Thank you again Adelle, Bill, and Penny!

Husband and wife business team visit for headshots in Pacific Grove

It was great to have this husband and wife team in the Jason Collin Photography Studio in Pacific Grove California for a headshot session. They each gave the other a lot of feedback on their headshots as I was shooting tethered to a 43” screen for real time headshot proofing! Thank you both for choosing me as your headshot photographer.

Airbnb Photography in Salinas, California Featuring and Highlight Images

Photography showcasing an Airbnb vacation property in Salinas California

This was my first time to venture to Salinas, California to photograph an Airbnb vacation rental property. This Airbnb was setup for a lot of guests, with three bedrooms, two of which featured multiple beds. As I do when specifically photographing a property that is an Airbnb, I went through the house at the end getting highlighting and featuring shots of the special features for guests, and views of the contents of the house that I think would appeal to guests wanting to stay somewhere comfy and inviting on vacation or just for out of town travel. Thank you Crystal for choosing me as your Airbnb photographer.

Actor Headshot Photographer in Pacific Grove and Monterey with Ian

Actor headshots made to request in Pacific Grove

Ian, a local actor, contacted me with two specific headshots he wanted, one that was kind of moody and serious, and the other that was lighter and smiling. So that’s exactly what we set out to do in our headshot photo session here at the Jason Collin Photography Studio in Pacific Grove, California. Whatever the client wants, whatever the scope is, that’s why I tailor the shoot too. We started with the moody headshot, settling on a background look, and then finished with the smiling, friendlier style headshot changing up the background to bright white for that. Thank you Ian for choosing me as your headshot photographer!

Hayward Lumber Social Media Commercial Photo Shoot in Pacific Grove California

Hayward Lumber Social Media Commercial Photo Shoot in Pacific Grove California

Visiting a Pacific Grove lumber yard to make live social media photos

As sometimes happen, how I think a shoot will go, and how it actually goes, are quite different. Such was the case when I arrived at Hayward Lumber in Pacific Grove, California to first make social media content photos with a provided shot list, and then to get a few photographs of the event taking place right in the lumber yard parking lot. Normally I would want to setup shots, likely use off camera lighting, and be in a controlled environment when doing this kind of photography, but, none of that was possible in an open for business lumber yard! I had to get the shots I could, as work happened live, finding volunteers for photos when possible and trying to tick off as many shots as I could from the shot list. With the help of a few team members, I was able to complete the list in the end!
