All challenges in one real estate shoot & flight!
Almost every real estate photo and drone shoot in New Mexico has its challenges. And then sometimes a property has pretty much every challenge possible! That is the case with this home in Placitas, New Mexico being listed by Mark & Susan Ryerson. The first challenge as you can see from the above photo is that the front of the house is largely blocked by trees and it is up on a hill, so getting a direct front view shot was not really possible, not even with the drone. The interior had unique architecture, but somewhat small rooms with large furniture in them. Even using a 15mm lens I had to really search for angles I liked for the living room in particular. Then flying the drone itself, I never had a signal issue between the remote control and the drone until this flight, likely due to the massive power lines right behind the house, which also prevented flying from that direction. Then there was wind from being so close to the mountains and the aforementioned trees all around the house! Overall, this was one of the most challenging real estate shoots and drone flights I have ever done in the Albuquerque area. Thank you to Mark & Susan for their great help as they always provide on this shoot and flight! Read More
Get a sunroom!
This near Rio Rancho but actually still Albuquerque, New Mexico residential real estate property was actually the second property shoot of the day I did for Mark & Susan Ryerson. They are my favorite real estate agent clients to shoot for because they make shoots fun! I usually work with them on luxury real estate properties, like this one that sold in less than one week because they are great agents, and maybe also the professional photos and 4K drone video I made of the property, so there is no drone video of this property, but there are aerial drone photos. This property is quite unique I think because it has a sunroom! How many homes are you going to find in New Mexico with a sunroom like this? Read More
Stunning views from Rio Rancho
Out in rural Rio Rancho on assignment for a new local real estate client, Mike Mellos, flying my DJI Mavic Pro drone over a large rural land property with great views of the Sandia Mountains. Mike wanted me to show the large road frontage of the property as well as the sloping of the land beyond the property to indicate nothing could be built that will block those wonderful mountain views. 8325 Rio Grande Blvd NW Luxury Real Estate Horse Property
This was my second luxury real estate shoot for Mark & Susan Ryerson, and my fourth overall property I have photographed for them in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They are not just real estate agents on these shoots, they are photo assistants and drone visual observers making these photos and the video a true team effort on our part. That is why I recommend them as real estate agents. They are a dynamic husband and wife duo that are extremely professional and also very fun to be around Read More

100 year old tree, fish pond, skylights!
Back out on a real estate photography assignment for Mark & Susan Ryerson in Albuquerque, New Mexico, who had another unique property for me. I really enjoyed shooting 374 Canon Madera Drive for them, an expansive luxury listing hidden in the east mountains. This property, 3009 Franciscan St NE, was closer to home though no usual Graceland Acres property. From the brick driveway, to 100 year old tree in the front yard tended to by someone from UNM no less, to the fish pond in the back, you can actually explore this city lot and find mystery. Inside the rooms feature multi-sided shapes, a walk right through from front door to back door flow, and a skylight filled master bath! Read More
Albuquerque Real Estate Agent Headshots
The Southwest Life Real Estate Group keeps adding new agents to its roster and long time client Deanna keeps sending them to the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for professional headshots, including a head-to-toe shot. Joyce is a new real estate agent, but a natural in front of the camera lens! All I had to do was get the lighting setup and she did the rest with a ready smile anytime I needed it and even a great pose for her head-to-toe headshot! Thank you Joyce and thank you Deanna for being such a wonderful client! Read More
