Scott visited the JCP Home Studio for headshots, but not just for one type of headshot. By profession he is a lawyer and wanted headshots for that, but in his other life, he is also an actor! So he started out in a nice suite like you’d expect to see a lawyer in, before changing up to a blue pullover for more casual actor headshots. I would say this is a first for me, but I’ve actually done one of these shoots a few years ago for a person that was both a lawyer and actor! Personal Branding Photos for Lawyers build strong connections to clients
More and more lawyers in Albuquerque are choosing to have personal branding photo sessions to go beyond the stern headshots you see on billboards to better connect with clients. Such was the case with meeting B.W. in the now The Clyde Hotel (formerly the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque) in downtown Albuquerque for an extended series of personal branding photos. Using different lobbies, hallways, and seating areas, I was able to make B.W. a wide variety of shots in just about a one hour shoot, not taking up too much of his valuable time as a lawyer. Team headshots for lawyers in Albuquerque for the past 3+ years
Long time law firm client, Vrapi Weeks, has had a steady stream of new lawyer hires, and one partner wanted an update to her headshot I made for her a few weeks ago, so even shot individually, I am able to make team headshots for them! I have now made headshots for Vrapi Weeks going on three years, with a consistent style so each new team member’s headshot looks like the first one I made several years ago. I think it is fantastic that as soon as a new team member joins the firm, I get a call to schedule that person’s headshot, so their headshot looks just like all the others! On location for unique lawyer headshots in Albuquerque
The lawyers of Ray Law, Brian and Nicole, met me at FatPipe ABQ for an on location headshot shoot, and also to make a better than stock image of Brian with a client. It’s funny how things in photography work, where I had not used FatPipe ABQ as a location in a couple of years, only to have three shoots there just this month! We chose a window for the background for their headshots, along with a shallow depth of field style. The result is a totally unique headshot for Nicole and Brian. Then using one of the conference rooms, I made a better than stock image so potential clients can see Brian on the Ray Law website in a real photo of him and a client. I really, really suggest removing all stock images from your website and replacing them with yourself and your team! Thank you Nicole and Brian for choosing me as your photographer!
In studio personal branding session with an Albuquerque attorney
A great choice I am now offering clients are branding photo shoots at YDS Studio in Nob Hill. That is where I met David, an attorney, who wanting a variety of branding photos from seated to standing. Using the great new physical backgrounds at YDS Studio I was able to make the kinds of branding photos David was looking for. With the huge windows on one side of the studio, I was even able to use natural light for some of these photos. David was great in front of the camera and open to using all the studio space had to offer. Plus, I offer tethered shooting in studio so he could see the results instantly on a 16” screen. Branding Headshots and Interior Photography for Lawyers in ABQ
It was a fun shoot at Peak Legal Group here in Albuquerque, New Mexico with Sheryl and Harold and their dog who made an appearance in several photos. It’s all part of making good branding photos, including your dog, your own personality, and yourself! It was a wide ranging shoot at their firm making interior photos, as well as better than stock photography of the two lawyers with a “client,” and then also studio quality headshots.
