When actors choose Jason Collin Photography for their headshots right here in Albuquerque, I always feel extra flattered as having the right headshot is critical to an actor for getting a role, getting an agent, basically it is a very important starting point. So when Fatirah contacted me to make a few head to toe headshots for her, as well as a more traditional one, I was very thankful. It was a great headshot session working on the 10 foot white seamless background I have especially for making head to toe headshots. Thank you Fatirah for choosing me as your headshot photographer!
Professional Product Photography for Beanies Hats in Albuquerque
Long-time client Tavis, of Morrison Outdoors, keeps putting out new products to go with their signature all in one sleeping bags for kids. The latest Morrison Outdoors merchandise? Beanies and knit hats for kids. Now that Tavis is located in the Pacific Northwest, he has to ship the products to me. I still send him real time feedback during the shoot, which this time resulted in him just wanting lay flat views of the beanies. I really appreciate Tavis still choosing me as his product photographer even though he is no longer living and working in Albuquerque. I look forward to seeing what Morrison Outdoors makes next for me to photograph!
Efficient and creative actor headshots in Albuquerque
It was great having Cory here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque New Mexico for an actor headshot photo session. He knew exactly what he wanted and needed, and I had everything set and ready to go to make the creative actor headshots he wanted, while taking up less than 15 minutes of his valuable time. Creative and efficient is possible while still aiming to always produce the best actor headshots in Albuquerque. Thank you Cory for choosing me as your actor headshot photographer!
Land Real Estate in Placitas Aerial Drone Photography
Back in Placitas for another drone aerial photography real estate shoot for long time clients Fred and Sandra of Sandy Creek Realty (formerly ABQhomes). They had a land real estate property in a scenic area of Placitas that was ideal for aerial drone photography due to the slope of the land. Still photography from the ground would not be able to show the topography or the stunning setting of the land as well. They also had a new request for these drone photos, that I draw the outline of the property boundary. They provided me with the plat maps of the land and I did my best to accurately draw in the property borders to help potential buyers see (almost) exactly where the land sits on the hillside. Thank you Fred and Sandra for continuing to choose me as your drone pilot!
Award Winning Landscaping Photographed for a Calendar
The past two weeks I worked with the Albuquerque Water Utility Authority on a fun photography project to photograph the ten winning xeriscape yards around the city. Home owners submitted their landscaping for consideration, and once the winners were announced, I went out to each property to photograph the yards to be featured on the Water Utility Authority’s website and in an upcoming calendar. The winners were from all corners of the city ranging from Four Hills, to the west side, to right in the middle in Nob Hill. Likewise, some yards were professional designed, while others looked more natural and wild. I also got to see an agave in bloom for the first (and only) time in its 10 year life. I forget the exact name of the agave featured below, but it was something like cow’s ear and is a very special agave I was told. Thank you to the team at the Water Utility Authority for choosing me as the photographer for this project!
Vivian is a long time networking friend going back to my very first days here in Albuquerque restarting the photo business after I moved from Florida. She recently recommended me to be the headshot photographer for her employer, HUB International. That was a lot of headshots and I really appreciated that referral, so as a thank you to Vivian, I offered for her to come to the JCP Home Studio to get a free headshot. That shoot was just yesterday and she is already using it on her LinkedIn profile! Thank you very much Vivian for the referral and for all you do for the local ABQ business community outside of your actual job.
Being involved with certain clubs and groups in Albuquerque affords me some unique opportunities from time to time. One such opportunity was to be able to drive my BMW M3 on the Isotopes baseball field for a women in sports event. I had a UNM softball player in coach in the car with me as we drove around the perimeter of the field. I naturally had my camera with me and got what shots I could while still behind the wheel. It was definitely a unique driving experience I will not forget! Thank you to the BMW CCA of New Mexico, Sandia BMW, and the Isotopes!
