I first met Rochelle when she came to the JCP Home Studio for a new headshot back in 2020. Since then she has given me several great referrals for large photo jobs, including being the event photographer for the Society of Women Engineers. I really appreciate client referrals, so I invited Rochelle back to the studio for a thank you portrait photo session. It was nice to see Rochelle again and make some fun portraits. Vivian is a long time networking friend going back to my very first days here in Albuquerque restarting the photo business after I moved from Florida. She recently recommended me to be the headshot photographer for her employer, HUB International. I am very fortunate to be able to say 2021 was the best year ever, by far, for Jason Collin Photography. Thank you so much to all the new clients in 2021, and a really big thank you to all the returning clients in 2021. I truly appreciate you choosing me as your photographer and drone pilot! For 2022 I have an all new, more capable drone (DJI Mavic 3 Cine) to produce even better aerial drone photos and video, and for photography clients, new lenses and improved editing techniques will make photos in 2022 better than ever.

Well, I bet for pretty much everyone 2020 did not go even as remotely as planned. I feel incredibly lucky to be the type of photographer that was only minimally impacted. Photographing events & conferences was only about 15% of my business in 2019. Much of my work is rural land real estate which is out in the middle of nowhere and drone work of course does not require getting close to people or being in an enclosed space. In fact, thanks to all my great repeat clients, and fantastic new clients in 2020, I feel very fortunate indeed. Thank you everyone for supporting a local small business owner, and know my philosophy remains as always to try and top the last shoot I did, the last drone flight I did, to continue to bring better and better photos and drone video to my clients in a Covid-19 safe way. I look forward to seeing my business networking friends sometime soon in 2021!
