Professional Commercial Photography for a Day Spa in Albuquerque
he whole time I was at Remedy Day Spa in Albuquerque, New Mexico making better than stock images, commercial portraits, and interior and exterior photos, I kept thinking to myself, “who knew this oasis was right in the middle of ABQ??” I met Mandy, the owner, who wanted me to capture the full range of spa services she has available, from secluded wooden barrels hot tub soaks, to professional massage, to a large yoga studio. It was one of the most wide ranging commercial photo shoots I have had. The photos feature the actual Remedy team in them, for that better than stock image photo feel because it shows the actual Remedy Day Spa team in the actual Remedy Day Spa setting. Now, all of Albuquerque can see and discover this hidden gem right in Nob Hill! Thank you Mandy for choosing me as your photographer and also to the Remedy team that did a great job in front of the lens all day. Creative Tea Pot Product Photography in Albuquerque
This is part two of the product photography I made for Alicia of Live Well Tea Company (see part 1). The main focus of the photo shoot was the canisters of tea themselves, to conclude the shoot we made a series of staged tea pot product photos right here in the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This was a fun and creative way to end the shoot, getting each set of tea pots staged to best show them off, from the linear shot above, to the multi-levels of the colorful tea pots below, concluding with lighting a clear glass tea pot set to not be too reflective, but also to be visible. Carolynn was visiting Albuquerque from the midwest taking acting lessons here. She contacted me about making actor headshots for her during her visit and I am very glad that the timing worked out because I am thrilled with the results we were able to make in just a one hour headshot session. Shooting tethered allowed us to get the exact look in real time that Carolynn wanted for each wardrobe change. We also dialed in her own custom color background that make her headshots unique. It was great working in partnership with Carolynn on crafting these headshots getting every detail just right. Candid Commercial Portraits for the Engineering team at BHI ABQ
It was great to return to the Bohannan Huston campus for another two days of photography right here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Three years ago I made dozens of headshots and a handful of candid commercial portraits. This time, more of the engineers at BHI wanted to get their own cool candid to feature when they go to conferences, events, and have an alternative to their headshot. Over the course of two mornings, I found a variety of backgrounds right outside their building such that two dozen people each got their own unique candid commercial portrait. Thank you to the tea at BHI for being so organized, and to the engineers for being so great in front of the camera, even outside on two warm summer mornings!
Fun and creative product shoot for tea in Albuquerque
My latest product shoot in the JCP Home Studio was with Alicia of Live Well Tea Company. She wanted her full product line of teas to be photographed in clear, clean, and also creative ways. Each collection of teas got a straight line shot, and a fun stacked shot too. Alicia was present for the entire shoot helping choose which order and placement for the teas for best color flow and visual appeal. I always welcome the client to be present for their product photo shoots, after all, they know their products best! Consistent lawyer headshots over the years for Vapri Weeks
One of my longest term clients here in Albuquerque is the law firm of Vrapi Weeks (formerly Noble Law). I have made everything from headshots to interior photos to aerial drone photos for them at their various New Mexico locations. Anytime they get a new attorney, it is easy for them to visit me here at the JCP Home Studio and get the exact same style headshot as I have previously made for all the other attorneys at the firm.
