On assignment for Albuquerque, New Mexico real estate agent Steve Etkind, I had the opportunity to fly my drone over the Rio Communities Golf Course in Belen, New Mexico creating a promotional video he will use to sell lots along and around the golf course. Drone video is a great way to showcase something like a golf course and the lifestyle living on a golf course offers.
I visited Big Sur, California soon after becoming a certified drone pilot with only a few flights of experience. I wish I had the cinematic drone flying skills I have now then! I never move the gimbal while flying, the drone is only moving in one direction all the time, save for an attempt at using active track on the rocks. Someday I will return to Big Sur and make a much better drone video!
I do not often photographs weddings anymore, though I photographed dozens in the beginning of my photography career. In fact, this was only the second wedding I have photographed since 2013! This was a special occasion, however, as networking friend Alex called me up and asked if I could photograph his wedding with just a little bit of short notice (a day!). I was not traveling for rural land photography that Saturday so I said I could do it and would be glad to!
Photography is a gift that lasts all year & beyond!

Photographing ribbon cutting events in Albuquerque, New Mexico is usually pretty fun and exciting, and the one for Rusty Taco in the Coronado Mall was no exception. The cold temperatures outside did nothing to slow down the staff of AHCC getting everyone ready to celebrate this ribbon cuttingevent late on a Friday evening. You have to be careful with those ceremonial scissors though!!
I spent three hours roaming the desert in Socorro County, New Mexico on a rural land shoot. I had five properties to get to criss crossing along a 7 mile path. My very last stop was back at the first stop, where I returned to get some sunset and twilight photos of the property. On the drive in I noticed this funky colored school bus up on a small hill. After I got the shots I needed for my client, I trekked a bit across the desert and up the hill to see if I could get a decent photo of the bus. It looks to be not so long ago abandoned from the quality of the signs still, but there are shrubs growing under and around it already.
What a great time at the Albuquerque Convention Center photographing the WEEF-GEDC 2018conference for Airbus! They hired me to photograph happenings at their booth in the vendor space focusing on their hashtag of #embracediversity and their chief engineer Jean Brice speaking at a panel and lastly their big awards dinner! This was one of the most fun events I have ever photographed. Who ever says engineers do not know how to have fun?? Thank you so much to Alina and the rest of the Airbus team for letting me be a part of this!
