Photographing ribbon cutting events in Albuquerque, New Mexico is usually pretty fun and exciting, and the one for Rusty Taco in the Coronado Mall was no exception. The cold temperatures outside did nothing to slow down the staff of AHCC getting everyone ready to celebrate this ribbon cuttingevent late on a Friday evening. You have to be careful with those ceremonial scissors though!!
What an event at Floor and Decor of Albuquerque, New Mexico! It seems people did not believe them when they said they really were giving away a brand new 2018 Chevy pickup truck! Well, with sales tax even paid too, they gave it away and Wizard won! I was talking with him just minutes before his raffle ticket number was called to be one of the five finalists for a chance to win the truck. He is a very nice guy and his motorcycle club advocates for children so he is a very deserving winner! This also made it seem more exciting to me having just met him a few minutes prior so it was not a completely anonymous winner to me. There were lots of other prizes, and I even won a Yeti cooler! Amazing job by Floor and Decor. This was one of the top events of the year in Albuquerque!
I learned a lot at this ribbon cuttingevent in Albuquerque, New Mexico for Kangen Water. I was surprised that according to their acidity metrics, tap water is better for you than the two most popular bottled water makers! The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce were very good hosts once again. If I lived closer to Kangen, I would be a member of their store where you can bring in your own water jugs and get them refilled. There is also a counter top machine for sale to purify the water right in your own home, but for me, it is just a little out of budget at the moment!
If you are having a grand openingribbon cutting event at a donut shop, it is wise to have it at 9am in the morning, which the new Donut Mart location on San Mateo Blvd in Albuquerque, New Mexico did! Thus, there was a huge turnout. I was there with my Nikon D750 representing the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce, which hosted the event.
I photograph a lot of ribbon cutting, grand opening events in Albuquerque, New Mexico. However, the one at ClearLink Skin & Medical for Dr. Rachell Davis was one of the best! From the energy and atmosphere, to the actually healthy food on hand to the generous door prizes given out, this was an outstanding grand opening ribbon cutting event! This was organized by the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce whom I have recently become a member of!
Photographing another grand openingribbon cutting event for The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce at the new Triumph Motorcycle on the west side of Albuquerque made me want to get on a motorcycle and feel that particular sense of Freedom one gets with a vehicle with just one headlight! Photographing ribbon cutting events is one of my favorite things to do in my professional photography work as everyone involved is exciting and I get to meet a new local business.
The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce organizes great ribbon cutting events. Their latest was for the new restaurant Seasons 52 in the Coronado Center. I love doing event photography for them here in Albuquerque, New Mexico because the energy at these events is always contagious and I love to make candids, and Business & Membership Development Director Luis Hernandez always provides great candid photo opportunities!
