There was a huge turnout for the ribbon cutting event at Monterey Aquatic Therapy Center in Pacific Grove, California. The Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce is so good at hosting these events. To me, capturing a ribbon cutting photo that has a lot of expressive reactions is my goal, and that goal was certainly achieved this time! Trisha and her team are high energy and their enthusiasm for the work they do is palpable. As an ambassador for the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce I often attend ribbon cutting events helping out by making photos to help promote both the chamber, and the business itself having the ribbon cutting. Such was the case at Love Thai Restaurant in Pacific Grove, California. It is a chance for a local business to have their own big grand opening day, to celebrate the start of their business, and for the community to come out and show support. Ribbon Cutting Event for senior dog rescue benefit shop in Pacific Grove
Peace of Mind Dog Rescue is an organization I noticed right away after moving to Pacific Grove, California. I have since donated many things to them. In addition to their animal rescue for senior dogs, they opened up a benefit shop recently in downtown. I was happy to see the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce was holding a ribbon cutting event for their shop, that was a fun event for human and canine alike!
The ribbon cutting events that the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce puts on feature all kinds of different businesses in town. This one I had walked by quite a bit in the past year, but never went inside until this ribbon cutting event. If you like antiques and nostalgia, then The Grove Emporium is a place to definitely check out.

This was a very high energy ribbon cutting because the owner of I heart You Candles, Sherry, is a very high energy and enthusiastic person! As an ambassador for the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce I regularly attend events like this and of course always bring my camera. This time I was also a customer purchasing a candle to bring home to my girlfriend. Amazing Harry Potter Themed Event Venue space in Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove
For the third of three nights (night one, night two) of event venue space photography for Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California I walked into a stunning room straight out of the world of Harry Potter, complete with “flying” candles! I had no idea what the theme was going to be for this night, so it was a total surprise to me, and a major challenge to photograph a space that pretty much required shutter speeds of 10 seconds or longer. For the above shot, with the help of the general manager, I got the entire staff to clear the room and was able to make a long exposure photo. Even though it might have made everyone a bit late setting up, I think it was worth it and the client loved it! Fun Ribbon Cutting Event Photography in Pacific Grove at my own dentist!
Since I moved to Pacific Grove 16 months ago, I needed a new dentist and was glad to find one within walking distance to my house. I needed a dental implant, and one that required some extra prep, so over the course of 7+ months I got to know Dr. Vince and the team at Moonflower Dentistry pretty well, so I was glad to hear of their grand opening and ribbon cuttingevent as I saw first hand the huge renovations going on inside the practice. Dr. Kritika and Dr. Vince put on an energetic and fun event to celebrate their newly renovated practice. I can also recommend Dr. Vince as the best dentist I have had in my life, and having had implants from another dentist / practice, his methods and skills made the experience for more pleasant. Check them out if you need a new dentist or want to get care in a state of the art practice!
