Tiffany visited the JCP Home Studio with specific requests for her headshot. She knew she wanted a black background, and a three-quarter view. She left the posing and lighting up to me. Whenever clients have guidelines for their headshots I am happy to match them and if asked, offer my own additional creative touches to produce headshots that make both them and their employer happy. Thank you Tiffany for choosing me as your headshot photographer!
My work as a rural land real estate drone pilot takes me to some very small and out of the way places, like Regina, New Mexico. You probably have never heard of it, but I know it well! It’s northeast of Cuba, New Mexico (heard of it??) and as you can see from the 4K drone video above, has some great views of mesas and mountains.
Scott visited the JCP Home Studio for headshots, but not just for one type of headshot. By profession he is a lawyer and wanted headshots for that, but in his other life, he is also an actor! So he started out in a nice suite like you’d expect to see a lawyer in, before changing up to a blue pullover for more casual actor headshots. I would say this is a first for me, but I’ve actually done one of these shoots a few years ago for a person that was both a lawyer and actor! Thank you Scott for choosing me as your headshot photographer for both your lawyer and actor headshots!
Longtime client Tavis of Morrison Outdoors had some new kids t-shirts for me to photograph. Shooting for Tavis has over the years helped me improve my product photography skills from both a technical standpoint and an efficiency of shooting standpoint. My goal is always to deliver better and better images for clients, and to always top the previous shoot I did. This is definitely the case with products for Morrison Outdoors, although these kids t-shirts were a nice and easy shoot, relatively. Thank you Tavis for continuing to choose me as your product photographer!
Fountain in Hotel Chaco for downtime photography in Albuquerque
I was photographing a conference at Hotel Chaco last summer and had some time in between events to photograph the flora and fountain found in the inner courtyard of the hotel. I don't often have time to look for shots like this while photographing an event, and almost never go on a photo walk in my personal time anymore, so it was nice to just look for photos like I used to before I became a full-time professional photographer 14 years ago.
