Creative actress headshot photo session in ABQ with a makeup artist
Sheryl was first going to visit the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for an actor headshot session last fall, but she is a very busy person and often out of ABQ for months at a time. Finally everything aligned for her to get new actress headshots this week and also for Hillary to come over to be the makeup artist for the shoot, as Hillary was a past actor headshot client and was the person who referred Sheryl to me! It was a great headshot session and I really like the results we got showcasing Sheryl’s personality from serious to smiling. Team headshots for lawyers in Albuquerque for the past 3+ years
Long time law firm client, Vrapi Weeks, has had a steady stream of new lawyer hires, and one partner wanted an update to her headshot I made for her a few weeks ago, so even shot individually, I am able to make team headshots for them! I have now made headshots for Vrapi Weeks going on three years, with a consistent style so each new team member’s headshot looks like the first one I made several years ago. I think it is fantastic that as soon as a new team member joins the firm, I get a call to schedule that person’s headshot, so their headshot looks just like all the others! Two times the team headshots in Los Alamos New Mexico
What happens if I have already made team headshots for your high tech business in Los Alamos, New Mexico and you get a lot more new team members? Well, I pack up my mobile studio setup and head back to Los Alamos for another team headshot session! I had a great time on my first visit to Pebble Labs making team headshots, action shots of the team in the lab, and a huge group shot in their greenhouse. This time it was just the headshots, which I was able to finish in time to beat the incoming snow storm and return to ABQ safely and get editing. Food Truck Menu Photography clean and ready for display!
Elder drove his food truck right up to my house for an extended menu food photography shoot at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In just over two hours I was able to photograph 30+ menu items for Elder. He wanted a clean white background for the photos as these will appear on TV screens on his food truck. We still made time to get a hero shot and a couple other highlight shots of the New Mexican food dishes he and his team prepared that morning. This was also the first time for me to use my new LED continuous lighting for a shoot, so that while shooting tethered with continuous lighting, Elder could see in real time the shadows and highlights of each dish even before I pushed the shutter on the camera!
New Year is the perfect time for new headshots in Albuquerque
I started out 2023 with a great headshot session with Sarah, who wanted a series of headshots that reflected the fun atmosphere of the business she worked at. With a wardrobe change and glasses change, we were able to create a number of different headshot looks. Add to that an aperture change on my part to create a 3D type shallow depth of field headshot, in just a 30 minute headshot session Sarah finished with 5 different headshot looks. It helped she was great in front of the camera and made the headshot session a lot of fun! Thank you Sarah for choosing me as your headshot photographer!
Beanie hats and t-shirt product photography with consistent results over years
Longtime client Tavis of Morrison Outdoors has new adult-sized beanie hats and a t-shirt that he sent to me to be photographed for sale on his website (check it out!). I have done many shoots like this for Tavis before, for example these other beanies and his most famous product, the all in one sleeping bag for kids. Even though there are in some cases years between shoots for Tavis, I produce the same consistent look for the beanies, t-shirts, and sleeping bags. Thank you Tavis for continuing to choose me as your product photographer even though you are now on the other side of the country!
Team Headshots consistent through the years for WSP engineers
Long time client WSP added quite a few more engineering team members, so I returned to their office in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my mobile studio setup for another team headshot photo session. Going back to 2019 I have made the same consistent, professional headshots for all their team members in those three years (see 25 more headshots!). I have also done a lot of drone work for WSP too.
