Working outside in for professional apartment photography in Albuquerque
Professional commercial real estate photography for apartment complexes in Albuquerque involves both indoor and outdoor shooting. As I made my way around Rock Creek Apartments, it is my preference to get the outdoor photos done first, as you never know when the weather can change. Once done with the exterior photos, I move on to the interiors based on what spaces are open at present and likely to get busy sooner rather than later. Plus, the leasing office slash community space had by far the most visual appeal for photographs, so this is where I spent most of my time. Ironically, photographing the interior of the empty apartment units was actually the least time consuming portion of the shoot! Thank you to the team at Rock Creek Apartments for escorting me around!

More and more actors are moving from L.A. to Albuquerque and I am more than glad to help them with a great new headshot as they transfer their actor careers to the desert. Such was the case with Shelley, who recently moved from L.A., and wanted updated headshots for resuming her acting career right here in Albuquerque. Professional event photography at an awards event at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya
Event photography is really starting to return in 2022 as I went to the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa for a multi-day conference for employees of PayneWest. I actually made 30 headshots to start out the event, then returned the next day to photograph the awards ceremony seen here. While I still have reservations about being in a room full of hundreds of people who just flew in from all over the country, and I still wore my N95 mask during the entire event, it was also nice to feel the energy of a live event with everyone extra excited to see each other after a long time apart. When actors choose Jason Collin Photography for their headshots right here in Albuquerque, I always feel extra flattered as having the right headshot is critical to an actor for getting a role, getting an agent, basically it is a very important starting point. Professional Product Photography for Beanies Hats in Albuquerque
Long-time client Tavis, of Morrison Outdoors, keeps putting out new products to go with their signature all in one sleeping bags for kids. The latest Morrison Outdoors merchandise? Beanies and knit hats for kids. Now that Tavis is located in the Pacific Northwest, he has to ship the products to me. I still send him real time feedback during the shoot, which this time resulted in him just wanting lay flat views of the beanies. I really appreciate Tavis still choosing me as his product photographer even though he is no longer living and working in Albuquerque. It was great having Cory here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque New Mexico for an actor headshot photo session. Land Real Estate in Placitas Aerial Drone Photography
Back in Placitas for another drone aerial photography real estate shoot for long time clients Fred and Sandra of Sandy Creek Realty (formerly ABQhomes). They had a land real estate property in a scenic area of Placitas that was ideal for aerial drone photography due to the slope of the land. Still photography from the ground would not be able to show the topography or the stunning setting of the land as well. They also had a new request for these drone photos, that I draw the outline of the property boundary. They provided me with the plat maps of the land and I did my best to accurately draw in the property borders to help potential buyers see (almost) exactly where the land sits on the hillside.
