Real estate agent headshots are, along with personal injury lawyers, perhaps the most seen headshots out in public. That’s why having a modern, creative, and professional headshot for a real estate agent in Albuquerque, New Mexico is particularly important. It’s the first impression you make on potential buyers and sellers, and if your headshot does not look professional, and modern, what kind of impression do you think that is going to make? Ben will be impressing clients all over ABQ with his new headshot and head to toe headshot as well! He visited the JCP Home Studio and it was nearly a record for fewest shots to get results we both liked! Thanks for being so awesome in front of the lens Ben!
I met Jackie a good while back at a marketing presentation. As I do with everyone I meet at presentations and networking events I checked out her website and follow up with suggestions of how my photography may help their business. Jackie was in the process of doing an entire website redesign and needed a headshot to go on it, my specialty! She visited the JCP Home Studio and we went through a variety of poses, background colors and even wardrobe changes to find a creative headshot style that worked for her new site. She chose the headshot above to use on her ABOUT THE WRITER page on her new website! Thank you Jackie!
This was my second Red Rally on the UNM campus, which is the burning of the Aggie from rival school NMSU before the football game. It is quite the spectacle because it is not every day one sees something 40 feet go up in flames, and this year there seemed to be a lot more flames for a lot longer! The pyrotechnics team must have learned something since the 2017 Red Rally.
Have you ever sat and stared in bemused amazement at the water feature in Civic Plaza in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico? It was designed by Aqua Design International. They contacted me about making a creative drone video of the water feature really showing off the range of fountains and colors they display at dusk. This was my first time to fly my DJI Mavic Pro drone in such low light. After a brief test flight I was very glad to find out it could record video in these conditions and that the final, edited 4K drone video made Aqua Design so happy. The music I selected I think really compliments the visuals. Press play, and take a 3 minute whimsical break!
Driving back to Albuquerque after a weekend of rural land real estate photographer in Angel Fire along the very scenic Route 66, one can find amongst an unbroken stretch of canyon, trees and river a place that very much stands out, the Johnnie Meier Classical Gas Pump Museum. Thanks to Atlas Obscura, a great website for finding strange and odd things, we knew to be on the lookout for it. There are not just old gas pumps, but any number of things from a past that is slowly being forgotten. For me seeing the old coin operated animal rides that I used to take in the 1970s and 1980s, it was a strong shot of nostalgia. Even the old cigarette machine jogged my memory to when you used to see them in every restaurant waiting room. And when was gas only 32¢ cents a gallon last?
The rural land photography and drone video work I do takes me all over the state of New Mexico, and I mean all over! Just during the late summer time of August and only half of September, I have been to Angel Fire twice, Taos, Farmington, Belen twice and Socorro. This is a selection of sunset photos I made at those places. If you would like any of these photos as fine art prints to put in your home or office, use the buttons below. Prints are less than you might think. Ask me about getting a 30”x40” canvas in particular!
I had the pleasure of working with a new real estate agent, Coralee Quintana, photographing a residential real estate listing for her in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. We met at an Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce ambassador meeting. At the listing she was very helpful getting last minute things in order for me to photograph the exteriors first, and then the interiors. She went above and beyond to insure the best results and really helped out the home owner as well. I did my part looking for creative, as well as the traditional, interior photography angles and composition. Check out the photo below using the bed in the foreground, not the typical bedroom real estate photo!
