More Creative Real Estate Photography than expected in Rio Rancho

This luxury real estate property in Rio Rancho, New Mexico was first featured in this blog post showing more traditional interior and exterior photos. What is offered here at Jason Collin Photography is far more than just the usual in real estate photography. Looking to push the boundaries of what creative real estate photography for luxury homes can be, at the end of the shoot I walk the entire property with a handheld 50mm lens looking for unique views of a room with a less wide field of view. This may result in a photo with a very shallow depth of field, or only the very corner of a room, or simply featuring the part of the bathroom a prospective buyer will find most relaxing. My goal is to always be more creative, more inventive, even in real estate photography.

Rio Rancho Real Estate Photography for Contemporary Luxury Home

Jim contacted me about real estate photography for his contemporary luxury home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Photographing such a beautifully designed and decorated luxury home is a pleasure for me. The open concept living room and kitchen was an area I alone spent over an hour photographing! Photographing a luxury home like this I use the best interior photography technique of flambient when the shot suited it, and other times traditional off camera lighting shots. 2 weeks in the desert (of Rio Rancho)

I have been spending a lot of time in the desert northwest of Rio Rancho, New Mexico the past two weeks for rural land real estate photography. I am shooting three properties per evening, circling back to each of the three to make one of my signature HDR sunset photos. Luxury Home with Stunning Mountain Views in Rio Rancho

My photography work often takes me to nearby Rio Rancho, New Mexico, but never before have I seen views of the Sandia Mountains like this from a residential home. Step out into the backyard and there before you, totally unobstructed by anything artificial, loom the Sandias. Look to the north and south and catch a glimpse of the Rio Grande River. Inside this architectural home features those views from all the rooms on the east side of the home, with its open floor plan. Want to own these views? This near Rio Rancho but actually still Albuquerque, New Mexico residential real estate property was actually the second property shoot of the day I did for Mark & Susan Ryerson. They are my favorite real estate agent clients to shoot for because they make shoots fun! I usually work with them on luxury real estate properties, like this one that sold in less than one week because they are great agents, and maybe also the professional photos and 4K drone video I made of the property, so there is no drone video of this property, but there are aerial drone photos. This property is quite unique I think because it has a sunroom! How many homes are you going to find in New Mexico with a sunroom like this?

Sand Dune in the High Desert

On a recent return to Rio Rancho, New Mexico for a r ural land real estate shoot for Hemingway Land, I found the property to be rather sand dune like in places. New Mexico is a high desert environment, not the typical sandy desert many may picture when hearing the word desert. There are places that are kind of sandy, like this one where you can leave prints, or paw prints, like the ones you can see in the above photo from my dog Kiki who joined me on this desert real estate shoot.
