Deanna and Eric of Keller Williams Reality told me about this spot they wanted to use for commercial real estate portraits out near Petroglyphs in Albuquerque New Mexico. It is at the end of a cul-de-sac and offers views of the Sandia Mountains. Its wide landscape allows for a variety of shots. I have already used this same spot for a car drone video shoot I liked it so much!
One quickly discovers walking around Venice Beach (I did nearly 8 miles of walking in one day!) that it is a city of many murals. Some can take up the entire side of a 3-story building, like in the above, and are very public and visible. That would seem to make the most sense to put a mural where many people can see it.
You might recognize this custom Nissan 370Z in the drone video above, but if you do you have a sharp eye because when I first photographed it back in March of 2017, it was white! That shoot was for Rohana Wheels, this time I met owner Santi (follow him on Instagram) for a 4K drone video shoot.
Elle and her dad came over to the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque New Mexico for a social media portrait session. She is going to have her own YouTube Channel in the near future and wanted a variety of different photos for showcasing in social media. We went through five different outfit changes and thus five totally different scenarios! Taekwondo is above!
I was back in Rio Arriba County New Mexico shooting two rural land properties for Hemingway Land which brought me to the Navajo Dam area with Navajo Lake on one side of it and the San Juan River on the other. Naturally I had my DJI Mavic Pro drone with me, but only had a little time to shoot some flyover video of the dam.
My work photographing rural land properties in New Mexico has taken me to Rio Arriba County many times. I have passed by Echo Amphitheater at least twice before, but did not have time to stop. Third time being the charm, on the return from a property shoot on the way to another, right there was Echo Amphitheater with time on the schedule to explore this great natural wonder, and if I may say so, produce some stunning images of a place that is certainly New Mexico True.
One of my first food photography shoots for UberEats was at Breve ABQ in Albuquerque New Mexico. It was also one of my best no doubt to the fact that one of the owners, Billy, is a professional photographer too and really cared about presentation of the food and had a very nice table to use as a background. I have since gone back to Breve for a photographer's meet up he hosts!
