Photographing The Wharf Rats at the Salty Seal in Monterey Live for Promotional Photos and Video
How did I end up making promotional photos and a video of The Whatf Rats at the Salty Seal in Cannery Row in Monterey, California on a recent Saturday evening? All through the Pacific Grove Rotary Club of course! Fellow Rotarian, Matt, is the singer and guitarist for the band and he asked if I could come to their performance and make a series of photos of them performing, and then at their start of their second set list, make video of those songs. The lighting was better than I expected resulting in more dynamic still photos and the proximity I could get to the band members while they were playing allowed for close up video shots. The video above features the start of them playing Black Magic Woman, which we did not coordinate, I knew the song pretty well, and with a bit of luck and a bit of good timing, was able to record from start into the opening of the lyrics like we practiced it many times! Upper Klamath Lake in Oregon Like an Autumn Mirror
This was my second time in the area of Klamath Falls for long time land real estate client Hemingway Land Company. This trip to photograph four land properties brought me to the Upper Klamath Lake area by the small town of Chiloquin. Right after I finished the 7.5 hour drive from Pacific Grove, California to Chiloquin, I checked into my hotel room, dropped off my bags, and headed right to the first property which was a stone’s throw from the lake. The client also wanted drone video and photos of the lake itself, so I went just a bit south of the property to Henzel Park where the sun was reflecting off the surface of the lake like a giant mirror. It was a stunning scene, that I had all to myself! If you can believe it, no one else was at this park seeing this incredible view. I am glad to share the drone video, drone photos, and still photos of this special sunset from this special place in Oregon.
Hampton Inn Hotel Salinas Commercial Real Estate Aerial Photography and Drone Video
I first went to the Hampton Inn Salinas to make commercial real estate interior photography back in March of this year. I returned this time to get all exterior content, including a drone marketing video, aerial photos, and twilight still photos all to promote the hotel and its location. I really like this kind of all encompassing photography and drone video job where I can make content of the entire property in my own style delivering for the client a complete visual representation of the hotel from inside all the way to 200 feet above the ground! 10,000 square foot home drone video and photos for construction client marketing
New client Annigoni Construction has been building a 10,000 square foot house in Pebble Beach, California for the past 4 years! It is nearing completion so Nick asked me to come out and get drone video and aerial photos of the build in its current phase. I will return in about 6 months when the house is completed to make another drone video highlighting the finished property. In the meantime when a show piece glass staircase is being installed to the lower level, I will return with my still camera to capture that process too. Professional Airbnb Photography for Sand Dollar Beach in California
This was my first time traveling to this area of the central California coast, just about due west of Watsonville in the Sand Dollar Beach area. I was there to photograph a client’s longtime family beach house, now being used as an Airbnbvacation rental property. The client wanted drone aerial photos to show its proximity to Sand Dollar Beach and its beach house setting. I included highlighting and featuring photos for the client of the beach vibes found in the views of the property as well as the decor. Thank you Siobhan for choosing me as your Airbnb photographer!
My work as a rural land real estate drone pilot takes me to some very small and out of the way places, like Regina, New Mexico. You probably have never heard of it, but I know it well! It’s northeast of Cuba, New Mexico (heard of it??) and as you can see from the 4K drone video above, has some great views of mesas and mountains.
