My goal is to make the best modern headshots for clients in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I achieve this be using a creative lighting setup for headshots, adding new background color options, and listening the the client and helping them look their best. Such was the case when Emerald visited the JCP Home Studio for her modern, business headshot. Trying out a few things, this was the final headshot she chose as her favorite, and it was mine too! Thank you Emerald for choosing me as your headshot photographer!
Victoria visited the JCP Home Studio with her corgi, Mama, for a commercial photo shoot to make images to hopefully put Mama onto a dog treat package. I photographed her dog on a clean white background to make it easy to eventually “cut out” Mama and emblazon her perked up ears onto whatever kind of treat bag she may end up on. This was a fun and challenging shoot and I believe the first time in 12 years as a pro photographer I was actually paid to photograph a dog alone (not with her/his owner). I coincidentally today just photographed the second dog ever for a commercial shoot! None in 12 years and then two in a little over a month.
Bringing the Sandia Mountain views in with real estate photography
Most luxury real estate properties I photograph in Albuquerque, New Mexico are either furnished or staged, but I had the unique opportunity to photograph an unfurnished, just finished, home for the builder themselves. Approaching the house I had no idea the inside would look like it did with its super high ceilings and commanding view of the Sandia Mountains. It is very much a modern house at the foot of the mountains where the views come right in through the windows, which is what I wanted to highlight in the interior photos I made of the main living space.
Modern and dramatic lighting for creative headshots in ABQ
More and more young professionals are choosing Jason Collin Photography for modern, creative headshots that showcase their personality, their brand, and their professionalism. Austin visited the JCP Home Studio for a series of headshots and wanted a variety of lighting styles and poses, including one quite dramatic one that I do not make very often for clients (see yellow shirt below). This was one of those headshot shoots that just clicked with client, lighting, and poses. Thank you Austin for choosing me as your Albuquerque headshot photographer!
While in Angel Fire, New Mexico recently for a rural land real estate shoot, I also made some twilight commercial real estate photos of Angel Fire Resort. I was actually staying at an Airbnb a two minute walk away, so that let me wait for the most ideal time of light and sky to make these long exposure photos. I have been to Angel Fire five times, which is famous for its skiing, but I have never been there in winter! So I have no idea what it looks like to most people who visit this hidden gem of a small town in northern New Mexico.
More and more actresses and actors are choosing Jason Collin Photography for creative, modern headshots in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Kristina visited the JCP Home Studio for a fun headshot shoot with several wardrobe and background color changes. This resulted in her leaving the studio with a great variety of headshots to use as needed for her website, on social media, and for attention grabbing 8x10 prints. Thank you Kristina for choosing me as your headshot photographer!
Back shooting for Ryerson Real Estate this time in Northeast Albuquerque, where I met Susan Ryerson to make the photos of this property at 8504 Sonoma Valley Dr NE. Working with Susan, or Mark, is always a pleasure as they do not mind helping out to get a room setup just right, and they each have a great eye for detail making my job easier. Thank you Mark and Susan for continuing to choose me as your real estate photographer!
