New Member Orientation with the PG Chamber was a huge meet and greet!
The second New Member Orientation event of the year held by the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce nearly tripled in size! It’s a great event where new members, and old, can really learn what the chamber can offer a local PG business. As an ambassador for the chamber, I attended welcoming the new members, and of course, as a professional photographer, brought my camera to help out the chamber by making photos of everyone holding fun “I’m In” signs. Headshot Photography Studio open in Pacific Grove for LinkedIn and other business profiles
Everett visited my photography studio in downtown Pacific Grove, California wanting new headshots to use on his LinkedIn profile. I listened to what he wanted in terms of background color and pose, making him one headshot on my new modern gray background in more of a profile pose and then another on a clean white background posed more straight forward. I always offer the client just what they want, and if the client just wants the two edited headshots that come with the starting price headshot session, then I make exactly that for them! Ferrari Owners line up Ocean Ave in Carmel for Monterey Car Week 2025
Another car show event for Monterey Car Week 2025 today. This time I went to Carmel for Prancing Ponies on Ocean Ave. The main street down the heart of Carmel is Ocean Ave, and indeed ends right at the ocean. The beach was not the center of attention today though, it was a lineup of Ferrari cars from across the generations to the latest 12 cylinder GT car, to classic racing cars from the 50s. I even got to see my personal favorite, the 458 Speciale Aperta. None of the Ferrari Big 5 (now 6) nor the Daytona SP3 which was disappointing though. Still, the sun was out and it was a beautiful afternoon for viewing fast and beautiful Italian sports cars!
Pacific Grove annual The Little Car Show brings a big crowd in 2025
One of the benefits of living in downtown Pacific Grove is that many very cool events are just walking distance away. Such was the case today with The Little Car Show taking place just two blocks from both my photo studio and apartment. I really enjoyed this car show because it was not the usual kinds of cars you see at the average car show. Many cars I had never even heard of before, let alone have seen before. So many of the car owners started talking to me about their cars with such interesting stories and history with their cars. One person with a VW van took his now wife out on their first date in it. All these years later, he just finished restoring it with his daughter. What an amazing story it was! Thank you to all the car owners who came to Pacific Grove today!
Car event photography at Porsche of Monterey for Car Week 2025
This was my second time attending the car event held by Porsche of Monterey. For me, it kicks off Monterey Car Week 2025. This is a very large car event featuring Porsches from all eras and all generations. The event spreads out all over the dealership covering the entire lot, the service bays, and even closing a part of one of the main streets in town. It is a great event if you want to learn about the history of Porsche cars, or just walk around in the late afternoon sunshine daydreaming about driving one of these sports cars on the open road. Another first for me was getting to see a PTS Carrera GT!

Nick and Jen of Amara by the Seas Boutique Spa reached out to me via the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce member directory about a commercial photography shoot for making branding and marketing photos of all of their many spa services, the products they have for sale, and the amenities in the spa like the two sauna for couples. I always highly recommend that businesses use photos showing their actual location, actual team members, and how their services actually look on their website and in their social media and marketing materials. I call this the “better than stock photography” impact. Nothing adds authenticity to your brand than real photos of your location and services.
