Craft 1861 brought another series of CBD products to the JCP Home Studio here in Albuquerque, New Mexico for professional product photography. This time there were some colorful bath bombs I handled very carefully to keep them from rolling off the table and losing any bits of themselves. This was another product shoot done virtually with the team from Craft 1861 watching the shoot in real time so they could have input on the color coordination of the bath bombs. Virtual CBD Product Photography Shoot in Albuquerque, New Mexico

This CBD product photography shoot here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico was unique as the team from Craft 1861 observed the shoot via a Zoom like interface. I had my MacBook Pro pointed toward the product photography setup where the team could see how the labels were facing, product pairings, and then the final results. I appreciate and welcome client feedback during product shoots, and was surprised how relatively easily and smoothly a virtual client shoot was! High Impact and Creative Jewelry Product Photography in ABQ

This is part two (check out part one) of an extended jewelry and Rolex watch product photography shoot I did for Crown Jewels and Coin here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Crown wanted high impact, high resolution photos of various pieces of jewelry to feature in a TV commercial they were making. Over the course of the shoot I made a variety of jewelry product shots featuring individual pieces, and group shots with nearly all the jewelry they brought all in one shot! In addition, we finished with a few hand modeling shots with the jewelry.

Getting creative photographing Rolex watches!

It was great working with new client Crown Jewels and Coin here at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico, making a series of photos of Rolex watches that will be featured in their new television commercial! Using a reflective acrylic product background for these shots, and my Sony 90mm f/2.8 macro lens, we put the watches in various positions and I even suggested having a hand model type shot. This was easily my most valuable product photography shoot to date!

During an Amazon product photography shoot here in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the JCP Home Studio I got to photograph climbing ropes for the first time. Marshall from NE Heights Climbing brought them over an assisted with getting the rope placement just right in coiled form, detail, and full shot. Marshall wanted professional quality product photos he could use both on his own website and for listing his products on Amazon as well. Composite photos for the best commercial photography

I was contacted by Planar two months ago to make professional commercial photos of their LED panel displays products they installed in a call center in Hobbs, New Mexico. However, Covid-19 soon shut everything down and it took until now for it to be safe to travel to Hobbs and finally make the photos. To make these images I knew the challenge would be how to capture the bright LED displays in a dimly lit space.

Sleeping bag product photography in Albuquerque

Returning client Tavis, of Morrision Outdoors, brought his latest kids sleeping bags to the JCP Home Studio for professional product shots, that are featured on REI.com. This was my third shoot for him, and done in a safe, social distancing way in this time of Covid-19. He dropped off the sleeping bags in the studio with both of us wearing masks and 6 feet apart, and then left as I started the photo session with great help from Jessica as always who staged the sleeping bags. I show one of our secrets in a BTS photo below showing how to get volume in a sleeping bag by filing it with towels, paper towels, and even a canister of disinfectant wipes!
