Convenient and professional headshots for attorneys in Albuquerque
Providing maximum convenience is a main differentiating factor I offer headshot clients in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lawyers and attorneys have very busy schedules, so to maximize convenience for the team at Enchantment Legal I brought my mobile studio setup right to them. It only took up a few minutes of each attorney’s time and everyone got a consistent, modern headshot on a gray background. Thank you to Jake for choosing me as your firm’s headshot photographer!
Adapting on location to get professional product shots of cannabis in ABQ
You might be surprised how often I have no idea what type of photography situation I will be getting into upon arriving at a client’s location. That’s one of the things that makes a pro photographer a pro, is being able to get good results in any conditions, changing conditions, and challenging conditions. Such was the case with Ironfist Cannabis, where we started out shooting right where the cannabis plants themselves were growing, but had to pivot to trimming the tops off and using a studio background and off camera lighting setup to get the results you see here. This also taught me that I cannot again shoot indoors on location at such a place as the odor from the plants lingers to this day still in some of my photo gear! Thank you to Javier for helping with the shoot on site. This was also the first chance to use my new snoot to really focus the light only on part of the plants. You can see the simple but effective setup below in a BTS shot.
Better Than Stock Images for Law Firms in Albuquerque
This was my second visit to New Mexico Legal Group here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where we had a very far ranging photo shoot from new team headshots, to better than stock photos, to candid group shots both indoors and out. Fairuza had everything running smoothly as usual. Thank you to the team at NMLG for continuing to choose me as your photographer and for doing so good in front of the camera!
Spending sunset time in the desert of New Mexico for real estate photography
Lately I’ve been to both Valencia County and Torrence County in New Mexico several times on rural land real estate photography shoots. This is an opportunity to go to an area that is usually pretty remote and quiet and just listen to the desert as the daytime shift gives way to the nighttime shift. Plus, if the clouds are right, the big sky sunsets make for great views.
A morning photographing a special Rolls-Royce in New Mexico
A representative from RM Sotheby’s called me up about photographing this majestic 1953 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith in nearby Sandia Park, New Mexico. I am always excited to have the opportunity to photograph special cars like this Rolls-Royce. It even had quite a history, as it was originally in Canada and in 1957 when Prince Phillip visited the Canada for the celebration of its independence, he rode in this very car! There is a plaque on the dash to commemorate this even. I found this car very striking from the outside with its sweeping wheel well design and of course the always impressive front grill that is the hallmark of all Rolls-Royce vehicles to this day. Using the Sony 50mm f/1.2 GM lens, the magic properties of that lens along with the striking pose of theSpirit of Ecstasy combined for incredible detail shots of this storied vehicle. Thank you to the owners for the interesting conversation while shooting, and to RM Sotheby’s for the opportunity to spend time with the history of this Rolls-Royce!
Political Campaign photography with real voters in Albuquerque
Making candid photos is one of my favorite things to do as a photographer, so when past client Athena Christodoulou contacted me about meeting her at a Bosque political event to make candid photos of her talking with voters, I thought this is a great chance to use the natural environment without walls to make some truly unique images for her campaign. Athena was able to talk with a variety of people, even someone with a dog (always a photography win), with several different backgrounds. She also changed jackets to add variety to the candid shots. Thank you Athena for continuing to choose me as your photographer!
