In full disclosure this is my Jeep Renegade TrailhawkI just got three weeks ago that is featured in this 4K drone video made in the Rio Rancho, New Mexico area on remote fire roads in the Southern Blvd area. Jessica was in the passenger seat and the pilot for this video, though I used the intelligent flight mode Active Tracking in the DJI Go 4 app, so all she had to do was to make sure the Mavic Pro kept the Jeep in frame. It was a lot of fun being out in the desert having an adventure and being able to make a unique home movie of sorts of this exploring!
I only got to spend a very brief time in Malibu, California. Fortunately, it was spent at the stunning Leo Carrillo State Park, which I just happened to pick out on a map to visit! You have seen my bird's eye view drone photos of this park, now you can see the view from my DJI Mavic Pro drone!
It took far too long to visit Petroglyphs in Albuquerque New Mexico. Many times on my way to photographing rural land properties in Rio Rancho had I past it. Finally, a brief visit was possible just to Black Volcano. A short 4K drone video of Black Volcano is featured above.
4K drone video and aerial drone videos are not just for 7-figure real estate properties on acres of land. Even a more modest house on a very small lot can benefit from the unique viewpoint drone video and photos provided. For example, 3648 Arboleda Senda NE in Albuquerque, New Mexico was a challenge because of the large trees right in front of the house and the close proximity of neighboring homes. I still found a way, in less than 10 minutes of flying time, to feature the house using my DJI Mavic Pro drone to show its setting at the foot of the Sandia Mountains and how pretty it is to have those flowering trees out front.
On the way to photographing a rural land property in Torrance County, New Mexico, we were looking for a place to take short hike. At Otero Trailhead off of Road 337 just south of Tijeras, if you take the first left branch off of the main trail entrance, you will come across this creek. In late winter it was not exactly flowing mightily, but it was a pleasant enough spot for an easy trek and a picnic.
This 4K drone video shows the gentle flow of the creek and the view from bird's eye above.
I have been spending a lot of time photographing rural land near Moriarty, New Mexico in Torrance County. At one location the client only ordered ground level photos, but in scouting the property on Google Maps I saw these crop circle looking formations behind the property and decided to bring my drone to see how they looked from the air!
I have already shown you what it is like to fly right under the Bixby Bridge in Big Sur, California. And what the view looks like from beside it. This, now, is a view from only what a drone can see hovering out over the Pacific Ocean. I find it a lonelier view without the Sea as the background to the bridge. Is this what the Sea feels when it looks toward land? Is the Sea, sad?
