Watching a New Pacific Grove Dental Practice Come to Life

Dr. Jamie has become one of the clients I most appreciate working with. She always has great energy and enthusiasm and her team is also so friendly. From team headshots, to the grand opening, to teaching the staff dental photography, to now this combo drone + gimbal video, it is always a great experience collaborating. It was a bit of a challenge getting drone video of the exterior of her practice, as this is when I first learned how aggressive seagulls are in the summer in Pacific Grove! I was lucky to be able to get just one elevator shot up showing the dental practice’s proximity to the PG coast. Moving inside the practice, getting the handheld gimbal video was free from any avian attacks! Dr. Jamie had a plan for the scenes she wanted video of. We made the continuous following shot of her through the practice in to see a patient in only two takes! The rest of the team did great in their shots as well. Thank you so much to Dr. Jamie for continuing to choose me as your photographer, drone pilot, and videographer too!

A Dog Park Grand Opening Video for Del Mesa Carmel

This was my third video shoot for Del Mesa Carmel working with Odeli, and each one has been very different! The first video showed the highlights of a guest room, the next was a drone video showing the entire expansive property, to now this one, of the grand opening of a newly renovated dog park. There were vendors in attendance and food offered to note the new and improved place for the community’s dogs and owners to meet up at and play. As you can see in the video, the dogs seemed to really like it! My goal with the video was to show a number of things, from the vibe of the event itself, to the renovations made to the part showing some of its new, unique features, and of course to capture some wagging tails and dog on the loose activity. I was happy to be invited back to Del Mesa Carmel for making video of this special community event. This marketing video for Pacific Grove Adventures was created as part of an ongoing video project for the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce, highlighting local businesses through short, approachable, story-driven videos. In this case, the “studio” was the beach, the props were bikes and a SUP board, and the goal was simple: show what it actually feels like to spend a day exploring Pacific Grove with Pacific Grove Adventures.

Once again Jazmyn and CC were pros in front of the camera! This video shoot required more physical action than the others, but it was no problem for them on land and water.

Marketing Video for Pacific Grove Golf Links with the PG Chamber

The next video in my series of making social media marketing videos for the Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce features the Pacific Grove Golf Links. This golf course has views of Monterey Bay and the Pacific Ocean and does have wildlife encounters possible right on course, which we experienced with a deer acting like a min-golf course obstacle on one of the early holes! Recording video on the course, even from a moving golf cart, was a lot of fun and the sun was out making it a beautiful day on the links. The Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce president contacted me about a video project they wanted to do, asap, and fortunately, my schedule could fit in a two day video shoot at no less than 9 locations! Good thing Pacific Grove is also small and compact, so highlighting restaurants, experiences, and just the beauty of the area at some many different places was possible, and it also helped that Jazmyn and CC were pros in front of the camera letting me work creatively and efficiently everywhere we went.
