Finally everything aligned for her to get new actress headshots this week and also for Hillary to come over to be the makeup artist for the shoot, as Hillary was a past actor headshot client and was the person who referred Sheryl to me! It was a great headshot session and I really like the results we got showcasing Sheryl’s personality from serious to smiling. Read MoreIt is often a client’s request that pushing me to add new skills to my photography toolbox, so when the Odelia Nursing Home in Albuquerque, New Mexico wanted both drone and interior video, I had to quickly buy and learn how to use a handheld gimbal. The results came out well, combining aerial drone video with interior views of the nursing home. To that I added still photo interiors shots too. Since this shoot I already invested in a much better handheld gimbal and look forward to offering clients the option to add “from the ground” video to the drone videos I have been making already for years. Somewhere between Albuquerque and Gallup resides the town of Grants, which has a cool Route 66 shaped sign you can actually drive your car through and take a photo with.
