Getting fun candids of a professional organizer and friend in ABQ

This was my second commercial portrait photo shoot (check out the first shoot) with long time networking friend, Miriam, of More Than Organized. She is a certified professional organizer and a Money Breakthrough Business Coach. She is also a very fun person and I tried to keep up with her during the shoot capturing all the great candid action! We started out with getting some before and after shots of her organizing files and such, then had some flying $100 bill business coach shots, before finishing with organized time candids in her office. It’s always different when you are photographing someone you know, it’s more relaxed, and when that someone is Miriam it’s also a lot of laughs! Sunrise commercial real estate shoot in Albuquerque

In order to beat the customer rush, I had to wake up before sunrise to get to this brand new Mister Car Wash location in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a commercial real estate photo shoot. I took the Sony 12-24mm f/2.8 G Master lens all around the car wash looking for unique views like the one above, in addition to more traditional shots showing the building and branding. I also used the sunrise itself in shots to add some visual flare. Thank you to the team at Mister Car Wash for choosing me as the commercial real estate photographer for this new location.

Professional Commercial Portraits along the Rio Grande in Corrales

I was already back on location doing more commercial portrait photography for awesome new client Precision Surveys, Inc, (see first shoot), this time in the Bosque area of Corrales, New Mexico right on the banks of the Rio Grande River. I had never been to this area of the Bosque before, and have since already been back for a personal day out enjoying this rather different stretch with more trees, higher view points, and more areas to access the river itself. Precision Surveys needed just one location for this shoot, so after a bit of trekking with the photo gear and the survey gear, we found this spot that had a view of the river and the Sandia Mountains in the background. Thank you once again to the crew who were great in front of the camera and to Larry for choosing me again as his company’s photographer.

On Location in Nambe and Santa Fe with the Precision Survey Crew

Fantastic new client Precision Surveys, Inc has already had me all over the area between Rio Rancho and Nambe for a series of on location commercial portrait shoots of the PSI crew in action. Working for Larry and his crew was a lot of fun, and some of the crew even stepped in to help as photographer’s assistants! They told me that the mesa you can see above, is where Curley (spoilers) died in the movie City Slickers. You do not often get interesting movie trivia like that on a photo shoot! This on location photo shoot was a lot of fun and thank you to Larry for choosing me as your photographer and to the crew for being great both in front of and behind the camera!

Creative Commercial Portraits Brick Wall Background in Albuquerque

Meeting client requests is what it means to be a professional commercial photographer in Albuquerque. Jason contacted me needing natural light portraits, with a brick wall background. So I began scouting locations in downtown Albuquerque that had a brick wall and would be in shade at midday to be able to shoot a natural light commercial portrait in. Having found the perfect location for the photoshoot, and done all the prep work ahead of time, and having 12 years experience as a pro, the shoot ended up taking less than 10 minutes of Jason’s time so he could get back quickly to his busy work day. That’s what it means to choose me as your commercial photographer. He also had his edited portraits delivered only 3 hours after the shoot!

Memory Care Commercial Real Estate Photography in Albuquerque

Over the course of three days I made extensive interior and exterior commercial photos of the North Ridge Memory Care community in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Just a few days after I was first contacted about making the photos, I was in the community shooting, and almost immediately after delivering the photos to the client, they were up on the North Ridge website! Everyone behind the scenes helped me work efficiently on site to photograph numerous rooms, and one of the big benefits I offer my clients is a very fast turnaround time on editing the photos. That’s how a commercial real estate client can go from first contact with me to having professionally edited commercial photos on their website in less than two weeks!

JohnsonLambert does not have a typical team page with just a business headshot for every team member on it. They go beyond letting each team member also have a personal branding photo, like the one above I made for Charlie when he visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a Covid-19 safe photo shoot recently. You can already guess that Charlie chose golf for his personal branding style photo, to go along with his business headshot on a clean white background. I think this is a great idea by JohnsonLambert to show a glimpse at each team member’s personality showing they are not just all business, no doubt a clever marketing goal especially for accountants.
