Real Estate Brokers Wanting the Best Headshots in Albuquerque
More and more real estate brokers are choosing Jason Collin Photography for their headshots in 2021. McKenzie was the second broker in as many weeks to visit the JCP Home Studio for a Covid-19 safe modern professional headshot session. In fact, McKenzie said my Covid-19 safe headshot session video is one reason why she chose me as her headshot photographer during this pandemic. McKenzie wanted a more three-quarter view for her headshots, which would allow her to crop tighter if needed. During my headshot sessions background colors are changed quickly and easily, while the client does wardrobe changes as well. This means in just a 30 minute session a very wide variety of headshot looks and styles can be created giving the client a series of modern professional headshots to use on their MLS page, personal website, and social media. Thank you for choosing me as your headshot photographer McKenzie!
The best interior showroom photography in Albuquerque
Looking to let customers know you do not need to travel out of state to have a fantastic piano buying experience in Albuquerque, PianoWerkes contacted me about making professional interior photos of their large showroom featuring dozens of pianos. My new Sony 12-24mm f/2.8 G Master lens was the absolute perfect lens for showing every possible inch of the showroom in amazing detail. The ceiling of the showroom was nearly as stunning as the pianos! It was great working with Neal and Anthony on this shoot making the exact type of showroom interior images they wanted to highlight their unparalleled selection of pianos. Thanks to Jessica too for assisting on the first part of this shoot.
In December I had two opportunities to visit White Sands National Monument, and they could not have been more different. The first was on a weekday late morning, and the desert was empty, the sand was pure free of footprints, and there was not a cloud in the sky. On the second visit it was near sunset time, the sands were covered in footprints as it was very crowded there (well for White Sands at least), and clouds added to the landscape story. Clouds and low sunset light shadows definitely add drama to photos of White Sands. However, there is nothing more mesmerizing to me than the footprint-free ridges of the sand dunes at White Sands for producing landscape photos. What set of photos do you prefer: these black and white footprints, or the stark white and blue footprint free dunes photos?
I was contacted by an industry magazine to visit Dr. Wagner’s orthodontist and denture practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico to make commercial portraits of his team and also headshots of Dr. Wagner himself. Dr. Wagner was really prepared and had his team ready to go for their photos. I guessed this would require working in tight spaces, and I was right and glad I had my trusty 26" Cheetahstand SoupBowl light modifier that fits virtually anywhere. Thank you Dr. Wagner and your entire orthodontist team for making it a smooth and fun shoot!
My custom started long ago on the other side of the world of watching the last sunset of the year bookended by the first sunrise of the new year continued this year from high up on a hill in Tucson, Arizona. The clouds opened up just in time for the sunset and I made it to a clear viewpoint just in time for the sunrise.
This was my first visit to the actual Saguaro National Park, though my second time photographing these statuesque cactus in Tucson, Arizona (check out first photos). This time I wanted to focus on the height and unpredictable arm shapes of the saguaro, shooting in vertical orientation, framing them to extend up and out of the frame. What makes the arms of these saguaro grow in these twisting shapes? It was fun to imagine and anthropomorphize what they looked like and what hand signals I thought they were giving! What do you see in the shapes of these most revered cactus?

Modern Business headshots for the best Albuquerque Real Estate Brokers 2021
One of my very first photo shoots of 2021 was this headshot session for new Albuquerque real estate broker Alexa. She visited the JCP Home Studio for a Covid-19 safe headshot shoot where we covered a wide range of backgrounds and outfits. Starting out on a clean white background, and then moving on to both black and gray backgrounds, even with the same outfit, Alexa had many different looks to choose from. She was open to trying variations too, allowing me to experiment with different lighting setups. I was very happy that Alexa chose 10 headshots from our session! She will not run out of different headshots to use on her listing pages, business cards, and front yard signs anytime soon. Thank you Alexa for choosing me as your headshot photographer and for choosing so many photos.
