Many of you may know Jessica, full-time girlfriend and part-time photographer's assistant and charmer at networking events! She is writing her dissertation and once she has her PhD will be looking for professor jobs and therefore now needs to get her LinkedIn profile going and we started with making her a headshot at the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I also wanted to try out a clamshell lighting technique that puts two strip boxes on top of each other like the opening of a clam shell. Plus, I just got the awesome Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 G2 lens in and wanted to test that out. Getting the strip boxes just right on the boom light stand and the lower one on the C stand took a good bit of doing. Jessica was great always producing an instant smile, and the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 G2 lens was an instant star as well!
