A Surprise Honor from the PG Rotary Club
I could not have been more surprised to learn I was to receive the Paul Harris Fellow recognition from the Pacific Grove Rotary Club. The award, named after Rotary founder Paul Harris, recognizes service and contributions supporting Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self.” I am very grateful to be part of such a welcoming and community-minded group of people here in Pacific Grove and am very humbled by it. I have not previously felt this desire to serve a community like I have since purposefully moving to Pacific Grove a couple of years ago. I will do what I can for as long as I can for PG.

About the Paul Harris Fellow recognition
The Paul Harris Fellow recognition is named for Rotary founder Paul Harris and is one of Rotary’s most meaningful honors. It recognizes individuals who support The Rotary Foundation and its mission to advance goodwill, peace, and humanitarian service around the world. Through Rotary Foundation programs, these contributions help fund projects such as disease prevention, clean water, education, community development, and the ongoing effort to eradicate polio. Through Jason Collin Photography, he provides headshots, branding photography, commercial photography, event photography, drone photo and video, and other visual storytelling services across Monterey, Carmel, Pebble Beach, Seaside, Big Sur, and the Monterey Peninsula.
Being part of the Pacific Grove Rotary Club has deepened my connection to this community, and receiving the Paul Harris Fellow recognition is a reminder of how meaningful it is to serve, contribute, and stay involved here in Pacific Grove.
