Electric Car Photography with a Porsche Taycan in downtown ABQ
Julia was my very last client of 2020 visiting the JCP Home Studio for a business headshot. She recently contacted me again for a very different type of photography, car portraits for her stepdad, Mark. I always really appreciate when clients continue to choose me as their photographer. I went and scouted a location for the car photography shoot in downtown Albuquerque. Mark drove up in his Porsche Taycan Turbo in a stunning "frozen blue" color. This is Porsche's first fully electric vehicle to rival the likes of the Tesla Model S. It is no secret I wish I could be exclusively a car photographer, so I really enjoy the chances I do get to photograph a car like this, with Mark in many of the shots for creative car portraits too! Thank you Julia and Mark for choosing me as your car photographer!
Real Estate License One Day Professional Headshot the next!
Just one day after getting his real estate license, Gregg visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the best value in person branding for a real estate broker, a modern, professional headshot. More and more real estate agents are choosing Jason Collin Photography for their headshots because of the convenience (shoots often take only 10 minutes), fast turnaround time of the edited headshots (often the same day), and because of the modern, creative style I use to make headshots that stand out from all the rest of the hundreds and hundreds of brokers in the ABQ area. Gregg knew the value of getting a standout headshot. He is now your competition, how does your headshot compare? Thank you Gregg for choosing me as your headshot photographer!
For me Sedona is a place of long time mystery and intrigue. It was a stop on my very first trip out west in 2000, where I ate one of the best meals of my life, a vegan chimichanga, while looking out at Snoopy Rock. I can only remember about 7 eating experiences in my life, and that is one of them. A second visit three years ago was all too brief and I could not find that chimichanga restaurant again, and lost my dog’s favorite traveling blanket. A third visit 1.5 years ago was more extended, where I got to drive my own Jeep offroad and over the most challenging obstacle I’ve ever encountered offroad. It was also the height of winter and in contrast to that amazing chimichanga meal, I had an outdoor meal (cannot remember the dish) that was one the coldest experience’s of my life. It was outdoor dining (even before Covid-19) in about 30F temps. It might as well have been 20 below. Still, I look forward to returning to Sedona again soon, this time with my mountain bike to explore the red rock like one only can from such an intimate machine. What are your Sedona experiences? Let me know in the comments below.
Memory Care Commercial Real Estate Photography in Albuquerque
Over the course of three days I made extensive interior and exterior commercial photos of the North Ridge Memory Care community in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Just a few days after I was first contacted about making the photos, I was in the community shooting, and almost immediately after delivering the photos to the client, they were up on the North Ridge website! Everyone behind the scenes helped me work efficiently on site to photograph numerous rooms, and one of the big benefits I offer my clients is a very fast turnaround time on editing the photos. That’s how a commercial real estate client can go from first contact with me to having professionally edited commercial photos on their website in less than two weeks!
Personal Branding Photography in Albuquerque for showing personality
JohnsonLambert does not have a typical team page with just a business headshot for every team member on it. They go beyond letting each team member also have a personal branding photo, like the one above I made for Charlie when he visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a Covid-19 safe photo shoot recently. You can already guess that Charlie chose golf for his personal branding style photo, to go along with his business headshot on a clean white background. I think this is a great idea by JohnsonLambert to show a glimpse at each team member’s personality showing they are not just all business, no doubt a clever marketing goal especially for accountants. Thank you Charlie for bringing in your driver and other golfing gear for a fun personal branding photographer shoot!
From Western New Mexico University for Headshots in Albuquerque
A representative from Western New Mexico University reached out to me about making headshots of a recent graduate for a feature being done on her. I said that would be great, so that is how Justyce came to visit the JCP Home Studio here in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a Covid-19 safe headshot session. Justyce wanted a gray background, which is becoming a more and more popular choice with my headshot clients. It was a great shoot that only took up 15 minutes of her time. Thank you to Justyce for being fantastic in front of the camera and to WNMU for choosing me as her headshot photographer.
It was quite the challenge to capture the sunset at six different rural land real estate properties in Huerfano CountyColorado with only three nights to do so! This resulted in one evening being like the end of the movie Bram Stoker’s Dracula with me actually racing against the sunset to get to the last property in time before the sun disappeared behind the mountains. Unlike in the movie, I did make it before the sunset and got the shots I needed. Without having to race around in a Jeep, you can see all the sunset views made with my signature HDR technique.
