This maternity photography photo shoot in Altura Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico was a rare opportunity, so rare in fact this was only the second ever maternity shoot I have done! This is because for most of my photography career as the owner/photographer of Jason Collin Photography I have been a commercial photographer.
How did I end up doing a maternity shoot?
How did I end up doing a maternity shoot then? Diane has been a great networking friend and has gotten the law firm she works for to hire me for three photo shoots. As she is pregnant with her third child, I offered her a maternity photo session as a thank you gift for all the work she has referred to me. It was a very nice change of pace to shoot outside in a park, and to photograph children, which was also a challenge! Diane and her son and daughter were all game for any kind of photo, from shooting bird’s eye view down, to blowing bubbles.
