Commercial Portraits in a beautiful downtown Albuquerque building
The interior of a beautiful building in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico made for a fantastic setting for a commercial portrait shoot with Maria. She is going to be featured in an industry magazine article so I visited her one morning to make the photos for that piece. Many of the times I shoot on location, I do not know what to expect for a shooting environment, and such was the case this time. Fortunately, the open office space of what used to be the lobby of this building had several different background options. Maria had a good sense of the space also and helped with choosing the right chair for the cover photo you see above. The challenge of shooting on location, usually unknown location, is one I actually enjoy a lot as it usually results in even more creative shots.
