An ultimate wedding and meeting story up on a mountain
I met Davis and Veronica last summer, as I was drafted onto their summer league ultimate frisbee team. I saw them again at other frisbee events, and since I took photos at some of those, they knew I was a professional photographer. So when they got engaged earlier this year, I was very flattered they wanted me to be their wedding photographer! Their own story of how they met started with ultimate frisbee too!
Covid-19 Safe Wedding Photography in Albuquerque
They chose the 10K Trailhead area just below Sandia Crest for their sunrise wedding location, with the ceremony starting at 7:30am. It is the pandemic still of course, so it was a Covid-19 safe wedding shoot. I wore a mask the entire time and the whole wedding was set outdoors.
Only friends’ weddings now
In the past I photographed dozens of weddings a year, but now as a commercial photographer, I get to enjoy photographing friends’ weddings about once a year. Thank you Davis and Veronica for choosing me as your photographer and I hope to be on your ultimate frisbee team again in the near future!
