A newer restaurant in Albuquerque New Mexico, Bayti Mediterranean Delicies has the aesthetic design of an Apple Store, which reflected the clean and healthy content of the food available there. I visited there on a food photography assignment where I met the friendly owner, Feryal, who was very meticulous in the presentation of the dishes. She even let me take home many of the foods you see above! Thanks Feryal!

Normally a white plate on a white table would be something I would not recommend, but again due to the nature of the food and the overall aesthetic of the restaurant, I thought it worked well representing the dishes like that. The food was photographed with ambient light coming in through the window and a silver reflector bouncing some of it back on the food.
This is another case of my photography work taking me to a place I would not likely visit on my own, but a place I will return to someday for sure! This is one of the benefits of being an Albuquerque Food Photographer!
