Since coming to SW Florida, I have not had a chance to attend a supercar event in over a year. There are not as many here as there were in Tampa Bay. Fortunately, Naples Motorfest 2016 was on a Saturday morning I had free and Dona of Luxe Fashion Group once again allowed me to attend and photograph the exotic cars on display. This allowed me to see for the first time the Lamborghini Aventador SV (above) in a standout blue color with SV graphics on the rear quarterpanel. This car had tremendous presence and was drawing the most attention of any supercar there by far.
It was also my first time to see the Mclaren 570S in person too. Being the entry level Mclaren, it still looks every bit the supercar, especially with doors flared open and upwards. I think I would be most interested in the new 570GT version. If you want to buy this Mclaren 570S visit Dimmitt Automotive.
I have seen a Mercedes AMG GT-S driving around Cape Coral a few times and for a relatively modestly priced car in the world of supercars, it stands out on the road very well. In matte silver-gray as seen above, it is classy, futuristic and aggressive looking.
In yet another first, I got to see the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider. It is one of the best looking yellow cars I have seen. Just parked, you can still feel how fun it is to drive just by looking at it!
I was able to talk to the owner of this Ferrari 430 Scuderia for a good bit and was surprised to find out he is the owner of Black Horse Motors! It's one of the exotic car dealerships I would occasionally daydream and peruse. If you are looking for a Ferrari or other supercar, tell owner Kyle Smith I sent you!
Naples Motorfest 2016 took place at Mercato in Naples, Florida just in an empty grass open area. The cars were placed in a circle like they were all going to listen to stories of the roads they have driven on by a campfire.
I have actually seen a Ferrari 458 Speciale driving around Cape Coral or was it Ft. Myers (?) before, but this was my first time to get to look at one in detail up close. It is the last of its kind, unfortunately, for Ferrari, that being a mid-engined naturally aspirated V8 engine. Its replacement, the 488 GTB has gone turbocharged. Thanks to Maz Motors for bringing this Speciale. They are also a Florida exotic car dealership. If you buy this Speciale, be sure and tell them I sent you!!
Thank you Dona for another great event!
UPDATE: Check out this great video of Naples Motorfest by Cass Peterman who I met at the event:
