Landscape enemy saved by agave!
A third trip in 6 weeks to Valencia County, New Mexico where I met the enemy of the landscape photographer, i.e. a cloudless sky. However, these agave plants volunteered to be in the foreground of my photo to add some visual flair to what otherwise would have been a mediocre HDR sunset photo. Not a bad workplace
This was my workplace one evening this week, a 5-acre piece of high desert about 40 minutes west of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The temperature was a pleasant 79F, the wind was calm for once, which allowed me to get the photos I needed to for the client in peace. Walking around the open desert all alone is a unique experience where my senses are much more awake than they ever are in the city to hearing secrets come across the ether.
