Creative Commercial Portraits Brick Wall Background in Albuquerque
Meeting client requests is what it means to be a professional commercial photographer in Albuquerque. Jason contacted me needing natural light portraits, with a brick wall background. So I began scouting locations in downtown Albuquerque that had a brick wall and would be in shade at midday to be able to shoot a natural light commercial portrait in. Having found the perfect location for the photoshoot, and done all the prep work ahead of time, and having 12 years experience as a pro, the shoot ended up taking less than 10 minutes of Jason’s time so he could get back quickly to his busy work day. That’s what it means to choose me as your commercial photographer. He also had his edited portraits delivered only 3 hours after the shoot!

Local Albuquerque actor O’Brien visited the JCP Home Studio for a series of portfolio shots and headshots. Working on a white seamless background in a Covid-19 safe shooting environment, I was able to make for O’Brien a wide variety of high impact photos to fill out his acting portfolio with, and a headshot that will catch the eye of casting directors. This was a really fun photo shoot with O’Brien being open to my ideas and bringing his own ideas as well. The result was a varied portfolio shoot with maximum creativity. Covid-19 Safe Headshot Photoshoot of Actor in Albuquerque
Looking for a Covid-19 safe headshot shoot, Leslie visited the JCP Home Studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the best headshots for actors in the city. We used three different background colors to create both serious and friendly actor headshots. Leslie said her nature is to be outgoing and friendly, so showing more serious expressions was not so natural to her. I helped her think of things to get the serious expression she wanted. The accounting firm of Loftis & Lovato Group first chose me as their headshot photographer for their office here in Albuquerque, New Mexico back in February of this year. Listening to what my clients want is something I like to think I do very well. So to read Bettina’s review of our headshot shoot was very satisfying to me as she said, “took the time to learn what my vision / goal was.” For her shoot, she wanted black and gray backgrounds, and I made sure that the position of her glasses relevant to the camera lens looked the best (i.e. no artifacting causing doubles nor any glare). Bettina was very good in front of the camera, so we were able to take a few shots, proof them together, then refine things exactly in the second round of headshots. Then to receive such a wonderful review made me happy knowing I was able to deliver great headshots for my client. Thank you again Bettina!
Studio like results for portraits in the park in Albuquerque
In addition to making candid portraits of Indu’s 1 year old son, I also made group portraits of her extended family at Altura Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The sun came out from behind the trees in a few of the shots just right to add an amazing visual element to the portraits. Since I use the same lighting I would in studio out on location, the results are spectacular portraits combining the best elements of outdoor and in studio photography.
