Featured on the TV show Diners Drive-ins and Dives, Golden Crown Panaderia to my surprise was a bakery, and one that featured not just pastries, but also pizzas and sandwiches! A food photography shoot took me across Albuquerque to discover this famous bakery.
I met with the owner, Chris, who brought out the wide variety of items to photograph that you can see above. Things started as I thought with the pastries in the right of the photo, but he said hold on for a couple of pizzas and then a sandwich! The staff almost ate the pizzas before I could get the hero shot above featuring all 5 items in one shot. I got to take the vegetarian avocado sandwich home with me! It was very tasty and a nice bonus from this Albuquerque food photography shoot.
