When having portraits made with your kids, why do things suddenly turn so serious? Do you ever stand bolt upright next to your kids on non-portrait days? That's why I like to makecandids even when using my portable studio portrait setup in Cape Coral, Florida like I did for these photos. My very last photo shoot in Tampa Bay was a James Bond themed portrait session with former photography student Nicole and her husband, and thanks to Dimmitt Automotive, an Aston Martin too! It was a great way to conclude my first 6 years of formally being a professional photographer in that area.

Such was the case with Pat who put up an interesting post looking for help with making a surprise proposal to his girlfriend on Sanibel Island at the Thistle Lodge.
Since coming to SW Florida, I have not had a chance to attend a supercar event in over a year. There are not as many here as there were in Tampa Bay. Fortunately, Naples Motorfest 2016 was on a Saturday morning I had free and Dona of Luxe Fashion Group once again allowed me to attend and photograph the exotic cars on display. This allowed me to see for the first time the Lamborghini Aventador SV (above) in a standout blue color with SV graphics on the rear quarterpanel. This car had tremendous presence and was drawing the most attention of any supercar there by far.
